Homocysteine is out to get YOU!
A study published in the July issue of the American Journal
of Clinical Nutrition states that total homocysteine levels predict
mortality risk. Homocysteine is a byproduct of metabolism, and
at high levels can be dangerous to the body, especially with regards
to cardiovascular health. Additionally, this study showed that
high homocysteine was a factor in both cardiovascular and nonvascular
causes of death. Researchers believe that because folic acid is
important in the treatment of elevated homocysteine levels, it's
likely vitamin therapy could prevent many homocysteine-related
deaths.
GNLD has long been aware of the adverse affects of high homocysteine levels, and developed Lipotropic Adjunct for those concerned with this issue. Lipotropic Adjunct provides nutrients shown to play essential roles in maintaining the health of the circulatory system. These nutrients include B-vitamins, like folic acid, to help assure proper metabolism of homocysteine. Lipotropic Adjunct also contains lipotropic factors to help keep lipids (fats) emulsified in blood, so they may be mobilized and utilized throughout the body where needed. When used in conjunction with a low-fat, high-fiber diet, Lipotropic Adjunct can help you get on the road to long-time wellness and vitality!
